BASIC SHIPPING INFORMATION
FOR CEDARSHED Online U.S. Orders, Cedarshed's "Suggested Retail Price" includes the cost
of shipping and delivery to Standard Motor Freight and UPS/FED-EX services. See below for a
complete description of these services. Please note that prices are approximate and may
vary from region to region.
DELIVERY / APPROXIMATELY 3-4 WEEKS
The average lead time is 3-4 weeks from time of order to delivery. This
can vary, and under certain circumstances lead times can shorten or lengthen.

If purchasing from a Cedarshed Authorized Dealer in your area, please confirm
with dealer to determine both shipping time and delivery method.
STANDARD MOTOR FREIGHT DELIVERIES DIRECT FROM CEDARSHED ONLINE
Standard motor freight deliveries are shipments delivered by Semi-Trailer Truck or a similar type vehicle, and are offloaded by the Purchaser. A complete description of how the freight is delivered and what is required by the purchaser is listed below.
Shipments will be delivered to or as close to the Purchasers property line and or Driveway provided the location is deemed assessable by the delivering carrier. It is the Purchasers responsibility to inform Cedarshed at time of purchase of any unusual or difficult location or delivery issues so necessary arrangements may be made with the delivering carrier where possible. Purchasers may incur additional shipping costs depending on the Purchasers specific situation.
The delivering freight carrier is not obligated to assist the Purchaser with unloading of freight.
Purchaser will be expected to cut metal strapping securing product to the pallet and therefore will require the use of wire cutters.
It is strongly recommended that the Purchaser have at least 2 assistants to help offload freight from truck.
Purchasers should be aware that although total freight could be over 2000 lbs, units will be offloaded one piece at a time, with individual pieces and components ranging between 1- 100 lbs that should be manageable in most situations.
Purchaser will be given a reasonable time frame to unload freight from the
delivering freight carrier vehicle ranging between 15-30 minutes.
PREMIUM PLUS MOTOR FREIGHT DELIVERIES
These are shipments delivered by Semi-Trailer Truck and or a similar type vehicle and are offloaded by the Delivering Carrier and carried to a specified location on your property.
Purchasers who choose our Premium Plus Delivery method to have their freight
unloaded must call a Cedarshed Customer Service Rep. to confirm that this
method is available in your geographic location. There is an additional cost
for this service and this charge will be added to your order at time of purchase.
Purchaser will not be required to pay any additional costs to Delivering
Carrier for this service at time of delivery unless there are deviations
from pre-arranged shipping methods.
Purchaser agrees to accept all financial responsibility for demurrage and rerouting costs if the ship-to location is changed after the product is shipped from our premises.
Shipment method/procedure must be confirmed at time of order. Purchaser should be aware that all freight is prepaid and that no additional freight charges should be paid to delivering carrier unless Purchasers alters or changes any prior arrangements. Any deviations to prearranged shipping methods will result in additional costs being billed to the Purchaser. In most cases the delivering carrier will bill the purchaser directly for any additional charges. However, in certain situations where it may not be possible or realistic for the delivering carrier to do so, then Cedarshed will re-invoice or bill your account for any additional freight charges which have been incurred.
Cedarshed strongly recommends that Purchasers contact our Delivering Carriers local terminal to make delivery appointment after Cedarshed informs Purchaser that freight has been shipped from our premises. Cedarshed will provide the Purchaser with both tracking and contact numbers for your convenience.
Purchaser must inspect freight prior to unloading and document any damage
on the Shipping Document "BILL OF LADING" provided by the delivering
carrier. Failure to document any such damage may result in delays in resolving
any possible freight damage claims.
Customer satisfaction and policy transparency is our top priority and we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are unsatisfied with your product, and all parts/hardware are new, unused, and resalable condition and in their original packaging, you can contact us for a refund, no questions asked.
RETURN AND REPLACEMENT POLICY

Returns are time sensitive, however, and are as follows: For package items shipped via FedEx/UPS ground, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. For items shipped via freight, please contact us immediately or by the next business day. In the unlikely event that your order is incorrect, missing parts, damaged or defective, contact us right away so we may arrange for parts or a replacement.
PLEASE INSPECT YOUR ORDER IMMEDIATELY UPON ARRIVAL. DO NOT DISPOSE OF THE BOX OR ANY PACKAGING MATERIALS UNTIL YOU HAVE INSPECTED YOUR ORDER AND ARE SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT YOU HAVE RECEIVED.
Returns will be inspected prior to issuing credit. Please keep in mind, credit card companies vary in the time they take to post credits. You are responsible for all freight costs and a restocking fee will be applied. If a product was originally sold as “Free Shipping”, please keep in mind that shipping is never free. The cost of transporting the product to you was already built into the price, and that cost will be reflected in your return. Certain orders cannot be returned due to their uniqueness and/or personalization to your specific request. Additional fees may apply if not returned in original packaging.
Packing & Sending Your Return or Replacement
After calling to receive a RMA number and return address information, you will need to prepare your item for shipment. Pack the item to be returned securely in the original carton. Inside the box, please include your contact information, the order number and the reason for the return. On the outside of the box, write the RMA number and the appropriate address that was given to you by the customer service specialist. Make sure that the package is fully sealed before shipping. We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged.
