Amid Home Renovation Trend, Cedarshed’s High Quality Products Available for the
First Time Throughout the U.S. at Lowe's.
LANGLEY, British Columbia, OCT. 16, 2006 – Cedarshed Industries, one of the largest manufacturers of high-end sheds and gazebos made from western red cedar, today announced that its popular garden products are now carried at Lowe’s (NYSE: LOW). The news marks a significant increase in Cedarshed’s U.S. distribution network.
“With consumers spending more on home and backyard makeovers, we are seeing not only a significant increase in demand for our sheds and gazebos but more customers using them as outdoor rooms and retreats,” said Bruce Cheng, co-owner and president of Cedarshed Industries. “We are excited about our expansion into the U.S. market. Customers can now head to their local retail store or go online and select from the various Cedarshed models available for order.”
Backyards are no longer just for decks and unsightly metal tool sheds, but more often resemble a family’s favorite vacation spot blended with its home’s style. As a result, more homeowners are turning their backyard into a retreat complete with a gazebo or pool house, recreation room, hobby house or studio.
Cedarshed’s quality outdoor structures make attractive architectural features in the backyard. The kits are panelized for quick, do-it-yourself assembly and include walls and floors, pre-shingled roof panels, pre-hung doors and windows, and all the necessary hardware and instructions. Cedarshed uses only western red cedar lumber in its structures.
Fifteen of Cedarshed sheds and gazebos are now available in 1,275 Lowe’s retail stores through the Special Order Services (SOS) program, as well as through Lowes.com. The SOS program will feature Cedarshed products in the special order books inside each Lowe’s store. Customers will have the option of having their Cedarshed products shipped to the store location for pick-up or ordering home delivery.
Cedarshed will continue to work with a wide network of local dealers across
the continent to sell its high-end garden products.
